I want to find from which line they come from. I got a double set of those a while ago and found them in the bottom of a drawer tonight. I’m not even sure that they come from the same line. Any help would be appreciated!

This set of 3D hills are based on the 3-inch scale of the Axis & Allies miniatures Expanded rules. I put them on ebay to see if anybody would be interested (All my auctions). I’m not sure how many wargamers use this 3″ scale versus the 2″ scale per hex. Our group has only tried playing with 2″ hexes, mostly because we don’t have any 3″ scale maps. Fortunately, a few people on the AAM board have started on the 3″ maps quest.

Partisans deploy beside my Katyusha and Mortar. Damn, I didn’t see that coming!

Turn 1 - Initiative: GER wins and goes second
PAK 40 goes on Overwatch, splitting the map in two. What a pain in the ***! Very good placement for the Germans. All Soviet tanks move forward (T34/76 drops its load, a Degtyarev, beside him on a hill). Partisans destroy my BM-13 Katyusha and disrupt a PPSh-41. PPSh-41 and Grenadier kill two Partisans. Before exploding, Katyusha is able to manage a Rocket Salvo at range 8 on a Mauser Kar. What a shot! I get 3 infantry in the blast and kill them all three: Mauser, MG 42, Werhmacht Veteran Infantrymen. That was worth my 12 points of BM-13.
