Homemade Barbed Wire for AAM

We have been playing AAM for a few weeks now (interspaced with other games of course). I was unsuccesful in finding cheap obstacles from the D-Day expansion other than Minefields. Last night, I sat down at my hobby workstation and figured I could easily make Barbed Wire obstacles. Here’s the result:

Blitzkrieg Commander and Axis & Allies miniatures - Part 2

BKC_AAM_stands2

I am still working very part time on my Blitzkrieg Commander stands with Axis & Allies miniatures. What’s left to be done? More stands (FAO, CO, HQ, Infantry, Artillery); drybrushing bases; painting uniforms in two generic colors (Americans VS. Germans). I might get these done eventually when we decide to try the game.

Mordheim Free-For-All!

FFA-T2_1FFA-T2_2

Last weekend our group played a Free-For-All in the city of Glücksheim. There was a temple in the center of the table containing a pile of valuable treasures. Each group wanted at least their share if not the entire loot! The game was a blast.

More Axis & Allies

AAMlogo

I put all the results, rules, tools for Axis & Allies Miniatures on another blog dedicated to our gaming group: Les Lames Vives (mostly French but with English translations of a few documents). We are using Campaign rules with a command unit that gains experience from one game to another (concept by Der Leiter on A&A community board). It is quite interesting so far (and rewarding to shoot down another commander!).
