The Darkness in Glücksheim campaign is not based solely on controlling territories. It implements resource acquisition rules for warbands. Each territory under control by a warband can produce specific resources (pictured as resource tokens) as long as manpower is allocated to it. You might remember that I’m planning to play Blitzkrieg Commander with Axis & Allies Miniatures. BKC rulebook was ordered last week and should arrive soon. Now I needed armies. Therefore, I started my project of putting together a number of stands using A&AM pieces. The first image shows my progress so far. The second image is a close-up of an HQ unit. I might post a step-by-step tutorial of how I did it eventually (once I’m done of course!).
Basing standards used:
Infantry - 50×25mm
Mortar + MMG - 40×25mm
Small ATG - 30×25mm
HQ + large ATG - 40×40mm
CO - 50×50mm
I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to base tanks (30×50mm) and vehicles (25×50mm) .
