Ruined Buildings - FrontRuined Buildings - Back

You bet! My wife finds I take up a little too much space in the basement with my miniatures and scenery! I read it’s a pretty common occurence among gamers… ;-)

Anyhow, I decided to put another batch of items on eBay. Here are a few pictures of two trenche systems and a lot of ruined buildings suitable for WWII or Modern warfare games.

Modular Dungeon Set #3

I’m back from my trip to the United States. I met many colleagues from across the border. It was nice and very informative! Before leaving, I sold my two modular dungeon sets on eBay. The gentlemen who bought them asked me if I had more dungeon pieces done. Hey, this is exactly the drive I needed to finish a bunch of in-progress dungeon rooms and accessories! I must make some room on my workstation for a couple new project coming down the pipe! Here’s a couple pictures of the set. Note that the last paint layer (drybrushing) is missing and will be completed tomorrow. I will auction it on eBay next week only if I’m not able to reach an agreement with the buyer of set #1 and #2.

Hirst Arts Molds and Modular Dungeon

Castlemolds

What really got me involved into terrain-making for miniature games was Hirst Arts Fantasy Architecture (Castlemolds) a couple years ago. Bruce Hirst is a master craftsman and a genius! This new hobby saved me from computer games addiction which were sucking the life out of me… I son realised there was a whole world out there for making scenery. Lots of good websites and forums! Since that day, I have been spending many hours trying new techniques and creating terrain for my gaming group. But terrain started to take lots of my available room and supplies were getting expensive too so I started selling stuff on eBay. I did good on a few pieces and not so good on other pieces. My advice: if you sell something, just don’t think about the time it took you to build it or you’re sometimes going to be depressed! ;-) Think of it as “recovering your costs” to buy more terrain supplies!

I just sold online two HA molds that I was not using anymore (Wooden Planks and Gothic Accessories) and 2 lots of a modular dungeon set I had started when I first got my molds.
